Pastor Bio

Rev. Charles M Robinson, the eldest child of Clarence and Ruth Miller, was born in Havre de Grace, Maryland and is a native of Harford County, Maryland.   After graduating from North Harford High School, he obtained an Associate’s Degree from Harford Community College and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biblical Studies from Philadelphia College of Bible. In 2004, he earned a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola College Baltimore, Maryland, and, in 2014, he earned a Master’s Degree in Christian Leadership from Liberty University in 2014.

He was ordained an Itinerant Elder in the Baltimore Annual Conference of the African Methodist Episcopal Church in 1997, and was appointed Pastor of St. Stephens AME Church, Easton (Unionville), Maryland, in 1998. In April 2006 he was appointed Pastor of Robinson A.M.E. Church and April of 2011 Rev. Robinson was appointed to Fairview A.M.E. Church. And, in 2016 Rev. Robinson become the founder and Pastor of River of Life Christian Fellowship.

Rev. Robinson has served as a member on the Talbot County Board of Education Multicultural and Achievement Committee and the Talbot County Minority Ministers in Partnership. In addition, he is an Instructor with the Baltimore Annual Conference Board of Examiners, has membership in the Ministerial Alliance of Baltimore and Vicinity, the Maryland Association for Counseling and Development, the American Association of Christian Counselors and the African-American Christian Counselors.

Rev. Robinson spent 25 years in the military and retired in 2003. During these years of service, he completed numerous training courses throughout his military career, received several military decoration and awards. His military decorations and awards include Air Force Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal with one device, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with five devices, Air Reserve Forces Meritorious Service Medal with six devices, National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon with four devices, Armed Forces Reserve Medal with one device, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon, Air Force Training Ribbon, Maryland State Meritorious Service Medal, Maryland State Commendation Medal, Maryland State Outstanding Unit Ribbon, Maryland State Service Medal Ribbon, and Maryland State Overseas Ribbon.

Rev. Robinson’s favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” and his favorite song is “Lead Me, Guide Me. He enjoys helping and serving others.

Rev. Robinson is the eldest child of Clarence and Ruth Miller. He is married to Authrine Robinson and has three sons, three grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
